Am 24. und 25. Mai besuchten wir Herrn Fiedler vom Salon Iris in Wien.

Nach einer Idee und dem Konzept von Salon Iris fand ArtBits in Zusammenarbeit mit EPSON Deutschland, Hahnemühle Papier und anderen von 23.-26. Mai 2002 im Semper-Depot der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien statt.

Die Ausstellung zeigte erstmals in Europa in diesem Umfang eine große Bandbreite digital erstellter, -bearbeiteter und -gedruckter Kunst. Namhafte Künstler aus dem In- und Ausland waren vertreten.

Ergänzend zur Ausstellung fanden Seminare, Präsentationen und Workshops statt.

Es war eine sehr informative Veranstaltung, die sehr gut organisiert war. Wir möchten uns hier noch einmal recht herzlich bei Herrn Fiedler bedanken. Für alle Digital- und Cyberkünstler ist der Salon Iris eine empfehlenswerte Adresse.

On the 24^th and 25^th of May 2002 we visited Mr. Fiedler of Salon Iris in Vienna.

Based upon idea and concept of Salon Iris ArtBits took place in cooperation with EPSON Germany, Hahnemühle Paper and others from May 23^rd to May 26^th in "Semper-Depot" of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

For the first time in Europe to such an extent the exhibition demonstrated the great variety of digital processed, manipulated and printed art. Well-known artists from home and abroad were present. Along with the exhibition seminars, presentations and workshops were offered.

It was a very informative and well organized event. Many thanks again to Mr. Fiedler. Salon Iris is a highly recommendable address for all digital - and cyberartists.
